Brief
Breaking into a new market isn’t easy. The NZ curtain market is especially tough with long established players and strong brands. Add in a downturn in consumer confidence and the housing market, our communication design team had some heavy lifting to do.
Already selling to NZ under a white label brand, Europe-based Vadain wanted to be more visible. Leveraging a new international brand—A Beautiful Day NZ—they were unknown in Aeoteroa. They wanted to create a social media presence to help make them recognisable and kiwi.

Social media marketing services: Create a social media brand to promote website traffic.

Social media content creation: Create an online brand through social media to help establish a new market player.
The process
Social media planning, management and implementation plans were created. The importance of free samples (to establish trust), and discount codes (the kiwi favourite) were quickly identified.
We combined and curated a collection of existing, new, and stock imagery so it would feel native to NZ. Minimal brand elements were extended to fit across social media channels.
The deliverables
- Strategic posts for Facebook and Instagram (marketing offers, PPC)
- Creation of over 140 static posts and 40 video posts
- 9 month Google Ads strategy, campaign for visibility in search, monitoring and improvement
