Graphic design: How we do it
A proven process in 4 steps
We have developed a simple 4-step process to elicit the best for your communication, brand or marketing project. Through simple strategy and creative thinking we unlock your potential and engage your audience.
Sound graphic design thinking
A proven process in 4 steps
01. Discover
It’s important that we have a thorough understanding of who you are and what you want to achieve. Discovery is vital for any project. The old adage “fail to plan, plan to fail” is the reason we won’t start any project without adequate information.
02. Report & Recommend
Discovery complete, we use that knowledge to outline opportunities, recommend a strategy, or demonstrate how to motivate your audience to engage, listen, learn or buy.
03. Apply
With an approach agreed, we apply our creativity to find, design and express your key messages in ways that help differentiate you from your competitors — in the medium that best reaches your audience.
04. Evolve
Project delivery is just the start. Once published we help you track engagement and audience feedback. Was the aim achieved? Are alterations required? How can we improve performance? How can we grow your brand?

Tikanga Māori
Kia ora
We’re still learning about the Māori side of our culture here in Aotearoa. We believe it’s an important part of what it means to be kiwi and living in New Zealand. It provides tūrangawaewae, grounds us.
For us this means tikanga Māori and te Ao Māori should be part of everything we do – and how we do it – not something to pull out just for special occasions. To revitalise a culture, a language, we all have a role to play. We are keen to learn, to understand and to contribute.
And to do that well, we draw on the guidance and expertise of Māori artists, storytellers and consultants. Learning and creating together towards a more authentic Aotearoa.
