Brief

Wellington medical services are often stretched. A remarkable group of doctors realised that they could help ease some of the demand. Investing heavily in premises, medical equipment and staff, they needed their new business to be fast out of the starting blocks. But they had two obstacles to overcome; the regional market for medical imaging had been unchanged for many years and the public had accepted the status quo; and they didn’t have direct access to their core market because of the requirement for a GP referral, so they had two targets to hit. Affinity Medical Imaging knew that Wonderlab had been successful in helping other medical companies achieve high online visitor volumes. They asked Wonderlab for a digital marketing and SEO consultation.

The objectives

Communicate to the public they had a choice where they went for their medical imaging requirements.
Communicate to the GP's and doctors that the newly launched venture was a credible referral alternative.
